The Christian and Death
Introduction:
- One of the most startling and repugnant facets of life is death. There is something mysterious about the relationship of life and death. When we are faced with death ourselves, or in a relative or friend, we also sense that there is something terribly wrong about the whole matter of dying.
- The response of the human race to death has a great variety. Some have sought death. Host of us avoid doing any serious thinking about death even when we may be forced to attend a funeral. Many people have spent their life savings trying to avoid death.
