Introduction: 
  • Christianity is built over an empty tomb! It is a historical fact — Jesus Christ died and was resurrected from the grave.
  • In the day the resurrection occurred there was an abundance of scientific evidence for the event — the empty tomb, the graveclothes, the ten appearances of the Lord Jesus, and the change in the disciples.
  • The message of the resurrection is inseparably related to all the basic truths of the Christian faith.
    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Rom. 10:9
