The Biblical Concept of Truth (1)

Introduction:
  • When your child is ill, your business is failing, a trusted friend becomes fanatical, you have a deep-seated difference with your wife, or when you try to look beyond a serious operation into the future, then — you want to know the truth.
  • Truth, as a correspondence with reality, is a most important possession. Without it we would not have had men on the moon, there would be no penicillin, communication would be impossible, right and wrong would be meaningless and hope would be an empty desire.
  • Jesus Christ said, "I am the Truth." John l4:6 The Christian understands that Truth has to do with the Person of Jesus Christ and with His work.
