The Christian and the Joy of the Lord

Introduction:
  • The Bible constantly reminds the believer of the importance of the joy of the Lord. In fact, one of the characteristics of the true believer, is the presence of this spiritual joy in his daily life.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans l4:17

  • Why should the believer rejoice?
