Jesus Christ - The Revelation and Provision of God

Introduction: 
  • In the Bible we are continually confronted by a Person — Jesus Christ. He claimed to be the Son of God (John 9:35-38; 10:35-38); to forgive sins (Matthew 9:6); to be the only way to God (John 14:6); and to be the Saviorof those who believe on Him (John 3:36).
  • It is important to realize that Jesus Christ is not only the revelation of God but He is also God's provision for us.
  • The book of Hebrews presents the message that Jesus Christ is the revelation and provision of God. The descriptions of the Lord Jesus Christ are given to us to emphasize the importance of responding correctly to the Lord Jesus Christ.
