Living for the Glory of God

  • How do you measure the value of daily life? Too often we use the yardstick of pleasure or the gaining of possessions. It was the Lord Jesus Who said;
     Take heed and beware of covetousness, for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Luke 12:15
     . . . That which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:15
  • What is the true measure of life? We have often heard it said; "Live for the glory of God. This is the true measure, we grant that, but what does this mean?
