Introduction: 
  • It is important that we understand not only the existence of God -- but how great He is!
  • Repeatedly God refers to Himself as "The Living God."
    "But the LORD is the true God, He is the Living God, and an Everlasting King . . . Jeremiah 10:10
    ". . . ye turn to God from idols to serve the Living and True God." I Thessalonians 1:9
  • These verses emphasize the reality and greatness of God.
