That Which is Freely Given to Us By God (2)
Introduction:
- The message of grace, in the Bible, teaches us that God has graciously given us many possessions and gifts of great value.
- Some of God's gifts are given to the believing sinner in connection with salvation. The initial work of salvation is a gift, as well as adoption, eternal life, peace with God, assurance of salvation and victory over death.
- God has also given the believer important and valuable gifts so he may live a successful Christian life. The Holy Spirit has been sent to teach us and to enable us to utilize these gifts of grace for the glory of God, I Cor. 2:12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
